Family photos are treasured time capsules. With time, that treasure can loose some of its original luster.

Although, not a true “restoration” project a customer came to me with a request. As a special gift for her mother, she wanted to add a sibling to an existing photo collage.

Originally, she just wanted to add the 5th sibling to the collage. After a quick discussion, I suggested changing the added image to look as if it were taken at the same time. I didn’t want the added photo to become a distraction for the family photo collage.

Below is the final product.
